Q&A: Excellent Podcasts

Today a colleague of mine from Finland asked me “What good podcasts do you listen to or know of?”. I could have sworn I posted on this topic but cannot find any reference, so here is a quick list:

.NET / Microsoft

Security

IT Pro

General IT

Tip: Use your Zune Marketplace or iTunes software to automatically deliver these podcasts to your device of choice (they both support it for free).

This of course is simply my list and I look forward to your feedback

I was listening to a stackoverflow podcast (the joint venture between Jeff Atwood and Joel Spolsky), and heard Joel recommending John Dvorak's Cranky Geeks. I'm a fan of John Dvorak's writings, so I suspect the podcast should be good (I didn't have a chance to check it out, yet). The stackoverflow podcasts so far has not been too inspiring, but I would give Jeff and Joel some time to pick up steam, since they just started. BTW, the original question does not specify whether it's about technical podcasts or any podcasts, so I assumed it was about technical podcasts. For general topics, my favorite podcasts include: NPR's Car Talk, Fresh Air, Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, and This American Life

My favourite one is Software Engineering Radio (www.se-radio.net). The content is more focused on software engineering principles and less on tools.
